A glass of this Mint and Rose Strawberry Tea is the most refreshing way to ring in spring.
Mint and Rose Strawberry Tea
Makes 6 to 8 Servings
Ingredients
- 4 cups water
- 4 bags mint and rose blossom green tea*
- 4 cups cold water
- Strawberry Mint Syrup
- 1 pound fresh strawberries, trimmed and frozen
- Garnish: fresh mint leaves
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups water to a boil over high heat.
- In an 8-cup glass liquid-measuring cup, place tea bags. Pour boiling water over tea bags. Let stand for about 2 hours or up to overnight. Discard tea bags.
- In a large pitcher, stir together tea, 4 cups cold water, and Strawberry Mint Syrup. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or up to overnight. Serve over frozen strawberries, and garnish with fresh mint, if desired.

*We used Luzianne Mint & Rose Blossom Flavored Green Tea.
Strawberry Mint Syrup
Makes 2 Cups
Ingredients
- 1 pound fresh strawberries, hulled and quartered
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup cold water
- ½ cup packed fresh mint leaves
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, combine strawberries, sugar, and 1 cup water. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Reduce heat to low, and cook until strawberries are soft , about 10 minutes.
- In a medium bowl, place mint. Pour strawberry mixture over mint. Cover and let stand for about 10 minutes. Strain through a fine-mesh sieve into a glass container with lid, discarding solids. Refrigerate until cold, at least 2 hours, or overnight.
