Smoked Oyster Dip
Makes 1½. cups
Ingredients
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons sour cream
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- ½ tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley
- ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
- ⅛ teaspoon Louisiana hot sauce
- 1 (3.5-ounce) can smoked oysters, chopped, and oil reserved
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, add cream cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, Worcestershire, lemon juice, parsley, cayenne, smoked paprika, and hot sauce. Mix well.
- Add chopped oysters and the reserved oil from the can. Gently combine. Cover and chill the bowl in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes so the flavors can develop and meld together.
- Transfer to a small bowl and serve with crackers or sliced French bread.
