Cane syrup and flaked coconut add layers of sweetness to this simple Black and Blue Fruit Salad. Honey may be substituted for the cane syrup, if desired!
Black and Blue Fruit Salad
Makes about 5 cups
Ingredients
- 2 cups fresh blackberries
- 2 cups fresh blueberries
- 1 cup halved green grapes
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh mint
- 2 tablespoons cane syrup
- 1 teaspoon lime zest
- 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
- ¼ cup sweetened flaked coconut
- Garnish: lime slices
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine blackberries, blueberries, grapes, mint, cane syrup, and lime zest and juice. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour. Top with coconut just before serving. Garnish with lime slices, if desired.
