This tradition, rooted in the Catholic Church and embraced by Italian and Sicilian communities, is observed each year on March 19. While there are many ways to honor Saint Joseph, beloved spouse of the Virgin Mary and earthly father of Jesus Christ, many people create an altar and host a special meal in their home. Each meatless dish carries significance, and the feast itself is a beautiful way to share food and express gratitude to the patron saint of workers, travelers, and families.
