Spiced Cranberry Simple Syrup
 
Makes 1½ cups
Ingredients
  • ½ cup unsweetened cranberry juice
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 whole star anise
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 3 whole cloves
Instructions
  1. In a small saucepan, bring all ingredients to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat, cover, and let cool overnight. Refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
