In a large bowl, combine cake mix, butter, and 1 egg together. The batter will be sticky. Press it into a lightly greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
In the same bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla, and remaining 1 egg together until smooth. Spread cream cheese mixture on top of the cake.
Bake for 20 minutes. Lower the temperature to 300°, and bake for another 20 minutes. Remove from the oven and allow to cool. Cut into squares and serve.
