Oat Walnut Streusel
 
Makes 1½ cups
Ingredients
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts
  • ⅓ cup firmly packed light brown sugar
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup old-fashioned oats
  • ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 3 tablespoons cold unsalted butter, cut into ½-inch cubes
Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, combine walnuts, brown sugar, flour, oats, salt, and cinnamon. Using a pastry blender or 2 forks, cut in cold butter until butter is pea-size. Freeze for 10 minutes or until ready to use.
