Garden Gimlet
 
Makes 6 servings
Ingredients
  • ½ cup lightly packed fresh basil leaves
  • ½ cup lightly packed fresh mint leaves
  • 1½ cups limeade*
  • 1½ cups gin
  • 6 ounces elderflower liqueur*
  • 3 ounces elderflower syrup*
  • Garnish: fresh mint leaves, fresh lime leaves, lime slices
Instructions
  1. In a liquid-measuring cup, gently muddle basil and mint. Stir in limeade. Strain mixture into a pitcher, discarding solids. Stir in gin, liqueur, and syrup. Add crushed ice, and serve cold. Garnish with mint, lime leaves, and lime slices, if desired.
Notes
If gin isn’t your thing, use your favorite vodka in this Garden Gimlet.

*We used Simply Limeade, St-Germain Elderflower Liqueur, and Belvoir Farm Elderflower Syrup Mixer.
